MyBasirah is an organisation working with scholars, du‘at, Muslim organisations, community leaders and relevant professionals to encourage responsible Islamic public engagement. Its Charter offers a shared ethical framework, while this site helps Muslims reflect on how the content they engage with affects knowledge, taqwa, character and closeness to Allah (swt).
We do not rank people. We help people reflect on influence.
MyBasirah does not score, certify, approve or condemn any scholar, da‘i, educator or public figure. Being listed here is not an endorsement by MyBasirah or Charter signatories. The Charter offers a shared standard for public engagement, and this site offers a calm space to consider what the influence we engage with is doing to our hearts.
Responsible Islamic Public Engagement
Beneficial Islamic influence should bring people closer to Allah (swt), deepen sound knowledge, refine character and positively transform the way we live and treat others.
Scholarly and Public Endorsement of the Charter
Individuals may personally endorse the Charter. Endorsement is a commitment they make about themselves, not a judgement of anyone else.
Community Reflection on Spiritual and Character Impact
Members of the public reflect on how content has affected their own knowledge, taqwa and character. Never a rating, score or ranking.
